Do you include digital files with your sessions?

Yes! All of my shoots include digital files with a printing release, so you can have the photos printed at a lab of your choice.

Do you offer printing services?

Yes I do! I offer all kinds of prints and products, ranging from wallet sized prints to custom made fine art books. If you are not a do-it-yourself type of person when it comes to ordering prints, I'm here to help!

What do you do if it rains on the day of my shoot?

I always leave days open for weather reschedules, so if the weather doesn't cooperate with us, we will pick another day!

Are your sessions run on a strict time limit?

Nope! Depending on the package you choose, most sessions last approximately 1-3 hours, but that time varies depending on many factors. I always allow for more than enough time between sessions, so you won't be stressed out about running out of time to get the shots you want. I like to be relaxed while I'm shooting, so strict time limits just don't work for my personality. Plus I LOVE shooting so usually I have a hard time stopping, even when I know I have more than enough shots. ;)

I’m kind of shy, and nervous about having my photo taken. Will you help me pose?

I will 100% help you pose and get comfortable in front of the camera! I don’t expect you to show up at your shoot and be a professional model. I also totally understand if you are shy and introverted, because I am too! One of my favorite things about being a photographer is working with all different types of personalities. You don’t have to have a super outgoing, bubbly personality to get amazing photos (although I love those personality types too!) I want to capture the REAL you, so when you come to your shoot with me, please don’t try to be anything other than exactly who you are. Remember- you are enough!

Why does your dog have that haircut?

Chloe is a hairless Chinese Crested, and believe it or not, that is not a haircut, that is just how her hair grows. She is weird and wonderful.

Do you retouch the photos? What if my skin breaks out the day of my session?

Every single file that leaves my computer is fully retouched and ready for printing. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my photos, so I will put in the time to look at every image you choose and remove blemishes, stray hairs, tan lines, etc. I'm not however a fan of plastic looking skin or abnormally white teeth. (Remember the episode of friends when Ross whitens his teeth? That is definitely NOT the look we are going for.) I'll just make sure you look like YOU on your best day.

Can I include my dog in my shoot?

PLEASE include your dog in your shoot! Even if you have the naughtiest dog on the planet, I promise I will love them. I also don’t mind if you want to bring your cat, horse, pig, turtle, bunny, fish, snake, or any other kind of animal. I’m serious.

Can I bring my mom and my best friend?

Absolutely! I only ask that you limit your guest list to 3 people total.

How often are you in NYC?

When we aren’t in the middle of a global pandemic, I’m in the city 4-6 times per year.

Do you have a studio?

I did have a studio in Lincoln for a number of years, but now primarily shoot in outdoor locations. However I LOVE shooting in studios, and I can book a rental studio for your shoot for if you would like studio photos in addition to outdoor locations. Just ask me about this option when you fill out your contact form and I can give you more details.

What kind of camera do you have?

I am currently shooting with a Canon R5

How do I book a shoot with you?

All of my sessions are booked on a first come-first served basis. There is absolutely NO application or selection process involved in my booking procedures, everyone is welcome here! After filling out my contact form and reviewing my info, if you would like to book a date, just send me an email and let me know when you would like to do your shoot. I will get back to you with my available dates! If you don’t hear back from me within 48 hours, please reach out again. (Also, double check your spam folder.) I ALWAYS respond to every email, so if you don’t get a response within a couple of days, it doesn’t mean I don’t want to work with you! It only means I didn’t get your email or it got buried in my inbox. I’m a one-woman show here and sometimes I have a tough time keeping up with that email inbox. ;)
